Q: What vaccinations will my pet require?

A: Dogs - we require a C5 Vaccine which covers Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo Virus, Bordetella and Canine Parainfluenza (Canine Cough). We require your pets’ vaccination certificate on arrival and every 12 months when it is updated.

A: Cats - we require a F3 vaccination. This protects against Feline Enteritis, Feline Calici Virus & Feline Rhinotracheitis. We require your pets’ vaccination certificate on arrival and every 12 months when it is updated.

Q: Will my pet be comfortable?

A: Yes all of our accommodation is sheltered and well ventilated & protected during inclement weather for your pet’s comfort. Cats are provided a sheep skin or polar fleece blanket. Dogs are provided a trampoline style bed.

Q: What should I bring for my pet?

A: The only thing you need to bring is your pet’s current vaccination certificate. Unfortunately we do not allow any personal items, EXCEPT a coat during cold weather, but we have plenty of bedding and toys!

Q: Will my pet be lonely?

A: No! Dogs will have time to play with other dogs of similar size & temperament. Cats are in individual units for safety; however they get plenty of attention from our well trained staff. Let us know what your pet enjoys and we will do our best to accommodate him or her!

Q: What will you feed my pet?

A: We feed Dogs & Cats Royal Canin Super Premium Pet Food during their stay. Customers are welcome to bring in their own prepared food for their animals. For any other pets – birds, guinea pigs, mice etc we do require you to provide your pet’s food.

Q: Do you provide a pick up & delivery service?

A: We do offer a pick up & delivery service. Please feel free to contact us to discuss pricing.

Q: What happens if my pet gets sick during the stay?

A: We prefer to use your pet’s vet, but if distance or hours of operation becomes an issue we have access to several vets should an emergency arise.

Q: My pet is an escape artist? Will my pet be safe at Acacia Ridge Pet Resort?

A: Yes. Your pet’s security is of upmost importance to us. Please feel free to come and inspect our resort if this is a concern. Also please inform us for your pet's tendencies so we can be best prepared!

Q: Can you give my pet its required medication?

A: Yes. We are happy to accommodate pet’s requiring medication, the medication needs to be clearly labelled with clear instructions. Extra care for your pet is charged at $2.50 per day inc GST
